JOB OVERVIEW

About Us:
We are a global finance and technology organization operating at the intersection of AI, data, and operations. Our Finance team ensures precision, control, and insight across all financial activities. We’re looking for a high-caliber GL Accountant who combines technical accounting expertise with analytical curiosity and the discipline to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. You’ll work closely with the Controller and cross-functional partners to manage multi-entity accounting, deliver timely closings, and support strategic reporting. This role is ideal for someone who loves structure, accuracy, and ownership — and wants to grow within an international, tech-driven company.

The Role:
As the GL Accountant, you will own the integrity of the General Ledger across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and compliant reporting. You’ll manage month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and help transform financial data into clear insights through Power BI and other reporting tools. This is a key finance role that requires precision, reliability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You’ll have the opportunity to expand into budgeting, forecasting, and financial analytics as the organization grows.

Key Responsibilities:
• Fully own and maintain the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and GAAP compliance.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications across multiple entities. Perform and document balance sheet reconciliations (cash, AR, AP, prepaids, accruals, intercompany).
• Lead the month-end and year-end close process, delivering all schedules and reports on time. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, transforming financial data into actionable insight.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor performance trends and financial metrics. Collaborate cross-functionally (Finance, Ops, Data) to validate transactions and cost allocations.
• Prepare financial statements and support internal and external audits. Maintain audit-ready documentation and drive continuous improvement in accounting and reporting workflows.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred but not required).
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience with clear GL ownership.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting.
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and analytical thinking.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Experience working with U.S. or international companies is a strong plus.

What We Offer
•Competitive compensation in USD with long-term contract stability.
•100% remote setup with flexible hours.
•Direct collaboration with global finance leadership.
•Exposure to international accounting standards and advanced analytics.
•A supportive, high-performance environment where excellence is recognized and rewarded.
