Full-Time Travel Agent (GDS - Amadeus) | Remote

We are looking for a highly skilled Travel Agent with expertise in Amadeus GDS and group travel to join a well-established U.S.-based travel agency. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless group travel arrangements by managing reservations, negotiating with vendors, and assisting Travel Advisors with expert guidance.

Your Responsibilities:
• Manage and confirm group travel reservations efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Negotiate competitive rates with airlines, hotels, transportation providers, and other vendors.
• Assist Travel Advisors by providing expert recommendations on vendors, cost-effective travel options, and industry best practices.
• Maintain and update travel records to ensure smooth execution and compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate bid requests and follow up with vendors to secure the best deals for clients.
• Finalize rooming lists and passenger details while ensuring seamless communication with vendors.
• Oversee payment processing, review final invoices, and resolve any discrepancies.

What You Bring:
• Proven experience in group travel management within a fast-paced industry.
• Amadeus GDS expertise, including ticketing, pricing, and availability searches.
• Strong knowledge of airline contracts, codeshares, and ticketing processes.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with vendors and clients.
• Highly organized with excellent multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple travel arrangements simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure a smooth travel experience for clients.
