Full-Time Filipino Technical VA / Developer

We are a fast-growing Australian marketing & automation company specialising in the fitness industry. We are looking for a highly experienced Technical VA / Developer who can build and manage advanced systems across APIs, automations, AI agents, and CRM workflows.

This is a senior technical role — ideal for someone with strong engineering experience, not an entry-level VA.

???? ROLE OVERVIEW

You will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining technical systems used by our company and our gym clients. Work includes:

Custom API integrations and data pipelines

Developing multi-step automations using Zapier, Pipedream, ---------- , or n8n

Integrating booking systems, e-commerce, payment gateways, and CRMs

Managing GoHighLevel workflows and API-driven processes

Setting up, configuring, and maintaining AI Receptionists & IVR systems

Working with Synthflow, Vapi, Twilio, and similar AI voice/telephony tools

Debugging errors, monitoring automations, and ensuring reliability

Strong English communication is required because you may occasionally respond to client messages or join internal discussions.

???? REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS (MUST HAVE)
API & Webhook Development

? Building custom API calls (GET/POST/PUT/PATCH/DELETE)
? JSON transformation & validation
? OAuth2, API keys, bearer token authentication
? Webhooks (setup, testing, error handling)
? Postman / Pipedream / Thunder Client for testing
? Understanding of rate limits, retries, and timeout logic

Automation & Integration Tools

? Zapier (advanced) – custom actions, code steps, API calls
? Pipedream (advanced) – Node.js workflows, custom integrations
? Experience with ---------- , n8n, Airtable, or similar platforms
? Connecting multiple systems through custom logic

Coding

? JavaScript (Node.js preferred)
? Python (bonus)
? Regex for pattern matching & data cleaning
? Writing backend-like scripts for automation logic

Go High Level (GHL)

? GHL API integrations (REST API v2)
? Workflow automations + triggers
? CRM object management & custom field logic
? Webhook-driven event handling

???? AI RECEPTIONIST / IVR SYSTEM EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED)

The successful applicant MUST HAVE experience in:

AI Agents & Voice Systems

? Synthflow – building agents, flows, prompt logic, testing
? AI Receptionists & IVR routing setup
? Twilio number setup, SIP routing, fallback logic
? Voice workflows, call flows, menu branching
? Handling handoffs between live staff and AI systems
? Debugging telephony errors
? Understanding latency, voice model behaviour & call reliability

Vapi / Similar Tools (bonus but highly valued)

? Creating conversation workflows
? Customizing behaviour using system prompts
? Multi-agent setups and agent-to-agent transfer logic

If the applicant has no prior experience with AI receptionists or Synthflow, they will not be suitable for this role.

? OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Excellent English (written + spoken)

Available full-time (40 hours/week)

Must work during Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT)

Reliable internet + backup connection

Strong problem-solving and technical documentation skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Experience with Mindbody, ---------- nce, Glofox, Hapana, Shopify, Stripe APIs

Serverless deployments (Lambda, Vercel, Cloudflare)

Building dashboards or internal tools
