Role Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager with a strong background in the Facility Management (FM) industry to join our team part-time. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment and is passionate about building lasting client relationships. You’ll be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities while working closely with leadership to refine our go-to-market strategy. Please do not apply if you do not possess the required FM sales experience.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the FM sector
Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects
Conduct outreach, set meetings, and deliver tailored presentations to potential clients
Collaborate with internal teams to create customized proposals and pitch materials
Maintain accurate records of activities, leads, and progress using CRM tools
Provide market feedback to inform service offerings and business strategy
Represent HMCB’s values and capabilities in all interactions with prospects and partners
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience in the Facility Management (FM) industry
Minimum 3 years of sales, business development, or client acquisition experience
Demonstrated ability to generate leads and close deals in a B2B environment
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Comfortable working independently in a part-time, remote capacity
Available to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET
Preferred:
Experience selling FM-related services or consulting solutions
Familiarity with CRM platforms and digital sales tools
Network of existing relationships in commercial real estate, property management, or related sectors
