We are a growing 7-figure DTC e-commerce brand selling in the USA market. We specialize in women's fitness accessories, primarily targeting women aged 50 and above.
We are looking for an experienced full-time AI Video Editor to join our editing team on a remote basis. This role is focused entirely on producing high-converting Meta ad creatives. You will edit and deliver polished videos across a range of formats including offer videos, Video Sales Letters (VSLs), AI animation videos and UGC-style content.

What You Will Be Doing:
You will be working closely with your own dedicated creative strategist, working as a team to bring briefs and concepts to life.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Editing raw footage into polished, high-converting Meta ad videos across all required formats.
- Producing offer videos, VSLs, AI animation videos and UGC-style content.
- Selecting and applying AI voiceovers that match the tone, product and target audience.
- Sourcing and applying relevant B-roll footage to enhance storytelling and visual engagement.
- Adding captions and subtitles optimized for silent viewing on
- Mixing music, sound effects and audio to enhance the viewer experience.
- Structuring and pacing videos to maximize watch time and conversions, including strong hooks, retention techniques and clear calls to action.
- Working with AI animation and video tools to produce animated ad content (this is an important part of the role).
- Exporting videos in the correct formats and specs for Meta ad placements including Feed, Reels and Stories.
- Managing revisions based on feedback with a quick turnaround. Keeping files and project folders organized and easy to navigate.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of professional video editing experience. Experience editing content for e-commerce brands is important and must be shown in your portfolio.

Test Task:
- You are editing a 15-second AI UGC-style Meta ad for a skincare product called GlowBoost. GlowBoost is a daily face serum designed for women aged 50 and above that targets dull skin, uneven skin tone and loss of radiance.
- Your video must include an AI-generated UGC presenter who appears to be a woman in her 50s or older. She should look natural, relatable and trustworthy, not overly polished or corporate. Think real woman, real result.
- You must also include relevant B-roll layered appropriately throughout the video. Think mature skincare routines, close-ups of glowing healthy skin, product application and a woman looking confident in the mirror.
- Captions and subtitles must be styled for silent viewing on mobile.
- Background music should feel warm, calm and uplifting, suited to an older female audience. The video must end with a clear call to action.
The Script:
"At my age I thought dull skin was just something I had to live with, but GlowBoost actually changed that. Two weeks in and my skin looks brighter, more even. I genuinely wasn't expecting this. If you're in your 50s and struggling with your skin, just try it."

What We Are Looking For:
We want to see that you have chosen a presenter who genuinely fits the target audience. Age, tone and relatability matter here. The B-roll should be relevant, well-timed and age-appropriate. Captions should be clean and easy to read. The hook should land within the first 2 to 3 seconds. The overall feel should be warm and authentic, something that would genuinely resonate with women aged 50 and above, and look like a real ad in someone's feed.
Please note we are not judging the product or the script as we wrote those. We are purely judging your editing, tool choices, creativity and attention to detail. Specifically we want to see that you can match a creative to the right audience.
What Happens Next:
The top 2 candidates will be contacted within 24 hours. Those 2 applicants will then be invited to a video call where performance incentives and further role details will be discussed.
