Full-Stack Mobile Developer with Claude Code Fluency (Gig to Full Time Potential)

Hello, I am looking for a full-stack mobile developer to come on in a gig engagement with the potential to convert to full time. 10+ years experience.

What's been completed: A fully designed, interactive prototype covering all core screens (onboarding, home, capture, discovery, taste report, profile) built in React/SwiftUI-ready component structure. A complete 10-section product specification document covering data model, API integration map, content classification pipeline, recommendation algorithm, and monetization architecture. A Claude Code engineering brief with full project scaffold, database schema, endpoint specs, and iOS design tokens — ready for immediate development handoff.

The tech stack is defined: iOS (Swift/SwiftUI), Node.js/Fastify backend, PostgreSQL via Supabase, OpenAI API for content classification, RevenueCat for subscriptions, with integrations mapped for Spotify, Apple Music, Instagram, TikTok, Pocket, and Notion.

Scope of work for this role: Build the production iOS app and backend from a fully specified, design-complete foundation — no discovery phase required. Phase 1 (Months 1–3): iOS app, share extension, Spotify OAuth, auto-categorization pipeline, basic discovery engine, TestFlight beta. Phase 2 (Months 4–6): additional integrations, browser extension, shared collections, premium features, App Store launch.

What you're joining: A funded concept with complete product design, technical architecture, and go-to-market plan in place. The design, strategy, and specification work is done — this role owns the build.

Technical Requirements:

Must-Have Skills
iOS / Swift

Claude Code fluency
Swift 5.9+ and SwiftUI (not UIKit - we need maintainable code)
MVVM architecture
NSExtension — share extensions specifically (this is non-negotiable, the app has a core capture mechanic )
Keychain, App Groups, background processing
App Store submission and TestFlight experience
RevenueCat or similar in-app purchase SDK

Backend
Node.js (Express or Fastify) — or Python/FastAPI if they prefer
PostgreSQL — comfortable writing real queries, not just ORM-only
REST API design
Authentication (JWT, OAuth 2.0 flows — critical for Spotify/Apple Music)
Supabase or Firebase (backend-as-a-service)

API Integrations
OAuth 2.0 experience (Spotify, Apple Music both use this)
Comfort reading and implementing third-party API docs independently
Ideally has shipped at least one music or media integration before

DevOps basics
Deploying to Railway, Render, or similar
Environment variable management
Basic CI/CD (even just GitHub Actions)


Strong-to-Have Skills
Experience with OpenAI API
React or React Native familiarity web companion dashboard)
RevenueCat webhook handling
Recommendation system basics (not required for Phase 1, but useful for Phase 2+)
