Full-Stack Developer (Next.js, Supabase, AWS)

We are looking for a highly skilled front-end and back-end developer experienced with Next.js, Supabase, and AWS to accelerate the development of our SaaS application. We have developer-ready Figma files and have already made solid progress on the build.

About the Role

We have a partially completed SaaS application with:
Several functional screens already built in Next.js
Initial backend structure in Node.js
Early database + auth setup in Supabase
Full high-fidelity Figma designs ready for execution

We now need a developer who can step in immediately, understand the current codebase, and continue the build efficiently and reliably.

To ensure fast progress and tight communication loops, you must:
Be available during Australian business hours (9am–5pm AEST/AEDT)
Respond promptly and consistently during those hours
Attend scheduled meetings
Provide daily progress updates and clear milestone visibility

Key Responsibilities
Continue building the frontend using Next.js, exactly following the Figma design system
Build and expand backend logic using Node.js (Express/NestJS)
Manage and integrate Supabase/AWS auth, database, and storage
Complete API integrations and connect multiple systems together
Work within the existing architecture without unnecessary rewrites
Build reusable UI components (not one-off pages)
Implement proper error handling, logging, and edge-case coverage
Set up efficient file upload workflows (video, images, assets)
Ensure responsive, polished UI/UX aligned with premium SaaS standards
Write clean documentation for code, APIs, and environment setup
Participate in architecture discussions and recommend improvements
Take ownership of timelines, deliverables, and proactive decision-making

Required Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, TypeScript
Back-end experience with Node.js + Express or NestJS
Experience with Supabase (preferred) or AWS (S3, Lambda, RDS, Cognito)

Deep understanding of API workflows, including:
OAuth2
REST API integration
Webhooks
Multi-step workflows
Ability to integrate multiple external APIs smoothly
Ability to work with existing codebases and follow established patterns

Strong understanding of:
Authentication & permissions
Scalable database structures
File upload pipelines (multipart, S3 buckets, streaming, optimisation)
State management & clean component systems
Experience turning high-fidelity Figma systems into pixel-perfect builds

Excellent communication skills
Reliable, organised, punctual
Able to work collaboratively and ask questions early
Experience delivering SaaS products end-to-end
Strong problem-solving and architectural thinking
