JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing e-commerce business looking for a talented developer to join our team. You'll play a key role in how we see and manage our business — building Power BI dashboards that give us real-time visibility into our operations AND developing custom internal tools that keep our team running efficiently.

This is not an agency role or a one-project contract. You'll be our in-house developer — a core part of the team with a steady pipeline of meaningful work across a variety of projects. We're starting this role part-time, but for the right person, this grows into a full-time position. If you thrive in an environment where no two weeks look exactly the same and you enjoy having real ownership over what you build, this role is for you.

---

WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON

Initial projects include:
• Power BI reports and dashboards (sales, inventory, purchasing, KPIs)
• A custom Purchase Order (PO) tracking database and management tool
• Inventory tracking system integrated with Amazon and other platforms
• API integrations with Amazon Seller Central (SP-API) and other data sources
• Internal web apps and utilities to streamline team workflows

Beyond these, you'll be our go-to developer for ongoing and future projects as the business grows. We have no shortage of ideas — we just need the right person to build them.

---

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:
• Power BI — DAX, Power Query, data modeling, report publishing
• SQL — PostgreSQL or MySQL (writing queries, designing schemas)
• Backend development — Python (FastAPI or similar) or Node.js
• REST API integration experience
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

Strong Plus:
• React or Next.js for frontend/dashboard work
• Amazon SP-API experience
• Experience building CRUD apps (inventory, orders, purchasing)
• Azure or Power BI Service/workspace management

---

WHO YOU ARE

• You're comfortable switching between data work and app development
• You enjoy variety — you don't want to do the same thing every day
• You ask good questions before building, not after
• You communicate proactively — we don't want to chase updates
• You take pride in clean, maintainable work
• You're looking for a long-term home, not just your next gig

---

WHAT WE OFFER

• Flexible schedule — project-based, not clock-in/clock-out
• Monthly invoicing — submit timesheet + invoice at end of month
• Company Microsoft 365 email and Asana access
• Clear growth path to full-time as the role expands

---

DETAILS

• Starting part-time (20-25 hrs/week) with a clear path to full-time
• Remote / Work from home
• US business hours overlap required (at least 3–4 hours)
• Compensation based on experience

---

HOW TO APPLY

Please include the following in your application — applications without these will not be reviewed:

1. A brief summary of your Power BI experience (include any DAX or Power Query examples if you have them)
2. Examples of internal tools or web apps you've built
3. Any experience with Amazon or e-commerce API integrations
4. Your most recent or current projects

Bonus: A short Loom video (2–3 min) introducing yourself and walking through a past project.
