Full-Stack Developer Needed for Insurance SaaS – Replacement Cost Estimator
Job Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced full-stack developer to build a web-based Replacement Cost Estimator (RCE) SaaS for the insurance industry. The tool should estimate replacement costs for homes based on property details and open-source construction cost data. The final product will be a SaaS platform with a freemium/subscription model.
Project Scope:
Core Features:
? User Input Form – Property details, materials, square footage, etc.
? Replacement Cost Calculation – Uses open-source construction cost data (NAHB, BLS, OpenCost, etc.).
? Dynamic Cost Adjustments – Adjusts for local labor and material costs by ZIP code.
? Report Generation – Outputs a PDF breakdown of cost estimates.
? User Authentication & Dashboard – Allow agents to save & access past estimates.
? SaaS Subscription Model – Freemium, per-use, or monthly plans.
Additional Features (Future Phases):
???? API Access** – Allow agencies to integrate it into their CRM.
???? AI-Based Cost Refinement – Machine learning to improve estimates over time.
???? Multi-State Customization – Adjust for different state requirements.
Tech Stack (Recommended, Open to Suggestions):

Ideal Candidate:
