Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and organized Remote Full Desk Recruiter to join our team, specializing in recruiting for public school districts. The primary focus will be sourcing, screening, and placing qualified candidates. The recruiter will manage the full recruitment cycle, including candidate sourcing, phone screening, conducting background checks, collecting necessary documentation, and coordinating timesheet submissions. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and school district stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing & Recruitment:
Proactively source and attract qualified candidates job boards, social media, professional networks, and other recruitment tools.
Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future openings.
Post job advertisements and optimize job descriptions to attract top talent.

Screening & Selection:
Conduct thorough phone screens to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit for school district roles.
Evaluate candidates’ certifications and relevant experience in educational settings.
Coordinate and conduct initial interviews to ensure alignment with school district requirements.

Background Checks & Documentation:
Administer and manage background checks, ensuring compliance with school district and state regulations.
Collect and verify required documentation, including certifications, licenses, transcripts, and references.
Ensure all candidate paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted in a timely manner.

Timesheet Coordination:
Work with placed candidates to collect, review, and process timesheets for payroll purposes.
Address any timesheet-related issues promptly and liaise with school districts to ensure accuracy.

Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing ongoing support throughout the hiring process and employment lifecycle.
Collaborate with school district hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure alignment with candidate placements.
Act as a point of contact for candidates and school districts, addressing questions and resolving issues efficiently.

Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure all recruitment processes comply with federal, state, and school district regulations, including education-specific hiring requirements.
Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, placements, and timesheet submissions in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Provide regular updates and reports to management on recruitment progress, challenges, and outcomes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in education, healthcare, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of background check processes and compliance requirements in educational settings.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and recruitment software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and clients.
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and remote collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).

Preferred Skills:
Experience working with school districts or educational institutions.
Knowledge of RBT certification requirements and classroom assistant qualifications.
Familiarity with payroll processes and timesheet management.

Work Environment:
Fully remote position, requiring a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
Must be available to accommodate school district schedules and candidate availability, which may include occasional evening or early morning calls.
