We’re a US-based creative agency looking for a reliable and talented frontend developer to support our growing client base. You’ll primarily work on websites and web apps using React/Node.js and custom WordPress themes — with the opportunity to take on backend or full-stack tasks if you have the skills.
This role starts as part-time (20–25 hrs/week) with the goal of growing into a full-time, long-term position if it’s a great fit.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain responsive websites using React/Next.js
- Develop custom WordPress themes (no page builders) using ACF or Gutenberg
- Convert Figma designs into high-quality, mobile-friendly pages
- Push to GitHub repos and deliver work via Loom walkthroughs
- Collaborate async using tools like Notion, Slack, and Trello
(Bonus) Assist with backend logic, API integration, or headless CMS if you have full-stack experience
Required Skills:
- React and JavaScript (ES6+), Next.js
- WordPress theme development (custom PHP/ACF/Gutenberg)
- HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind or SCSS
- GitHub, Figma, and responsive design practices
- Strong communication and ability to follow async feedback
Bonus Skills (Not Required but Nice to Have):
- Node.js, Express, or API integration
- Backend dev (Firebase/AWS)
- Familiarity with CMS-to-frontend workflows
- Experience building web dashboards or admin panels
Salary / Wage per Month:
55,000–70,000 PHP/month (~$1,000–$1,250 USD)
For part-time (20–25 hours/week)
Potential to scale to 110,000–140,000 PHP/month (~$2,000–$2,500 USD) if full-time
How to Apply:
- A short introduction about yourself, your development experience, and the kind of work you enjoy most.
- Links to 2–3 recent projects you’ve built — include live URLs and GitHub repos if available.
- Mention your experience with WordPress and React (and any Node.js or full-stack experience if you have it).
- Your availability (in hours per week) and your expected monthly rate in PHP.
