Private Practice Elevation is currently looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Front End WordPress Developer that is up for becoming part of the team for long-term growth.
The role of WordPress Developer is to successfully bring our clients’ website projects and vision to life.
This position is 20-30 hours/week. Monday - Friday. The core of our team is based in the USA in Eastern Standard Time and we need someone who can be available during the bulk of our working day.
Tasks Include:
Intermediate experience in Agile methodologies with Scrum framework focused on breaking down user stories.
Intermediate user of Asana Project Management software.
Creating a filtering system for multiple staff members by using plugins.
Taking website designs (Figma) and turning them into fully functional WordPress websites
Meeting deadlines while also keeping with quality standards
Open and frequent communication with our tea
Creating websites that meet industry standards for speed, SEO and responsive design
Work to resolve issues related to WordPress websites and client hosting
Weekly tea
Daily Scrum check-ins on Slack to identify your top priorities.
Qualities we are looking for:
English fluency
At least 4+ years of experience developing WordPress themes.
Experience with Agile Project Management, Scrum, and Sprint Planning.
Great attention to detail with high standards for your work
A free thinker, willing to look for answers.
Confidence in coding and CSS. Background in Javascript is a plus.
Fully understands responsive coding.
A team player who is happy working in an Agile team.
Strong communication skills - proactive communication.
Experience in cross-browser compliance issues.
Experience in web hosting performance and security issues.

The Front End WordPress Developer reports directly to the Project Manager. You’ll be joining a growing team and also working closely with Daniel, the owner, as well.
