Freelance Accountant For Singapore Company (Flexi Time)

We're a ecommerce company seeking a freelance accountant skilled in Xero, with expertise in Singapore accounting standards, for an annual catch up accounting project . You will also help us to migrate to Quickbooks upon completion of the catch up project.

This recurring opportunity offers the chance to build a long-term professional relationship, as the catch up accounting project repeats annually. Working hours are flexible , allowing you to manage your own schedule while meeting our project deadline.

Project Overview:
- Provide comprehensive bookkeeping and financial statement compilation services.
- Transaction Recording: Accurately record financial transactions and ensure all entries are documented appropriately
- Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial statements
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports such as Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cashflow statements
- Utilize Xero's "cash coding" method for bulk reconciliation (automated rules already set up)
- Migrate from Xero to Quickbooks for the next financial year.
- Work independently, with a one-month deadline for project completion.

Qualifications:
- Mandatory: Exposure to Singapore accounting standards
- Proficiency in Xero and Quickbooks.
- Familiar with year-end work papers and closing processes
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any related program
- Meticulous, highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
