Founding AI Engineer

I'm looking for a Founding AI Engineer to help build a Vertical AI SaaS product from the ground up.

The product involves processing large volumes of documents, extracting structured information, running multi-step AI workflows, and generating high-quality outputs through a web-based SaaS platform.

This is not a simple chatbot project. I'm looking for someone who has experience building production-grade AI systems that can reliably process documents, reason through workflows, and generate accurate outputs.

What You'll Be Responsible For
Building the MVP alongside the founder
Architecting the AI workflow and backend systems
Creating document ingestion and processing pipelines
Building structured AI workflows and agent systems
Designing databases, file storage, and application architecture
Building the web application and user dashboard
Working independently from product specifications

Required Skills
Proven experience building AI-powered applications
Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Experience building multi-step AI workflows or agent systems
Strong understanding of OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM APIs
Experience processing and extracting data from PDFs and other unstructured documents
Strong backend development experience
Strong database design experience
Ability to take a product from concept to MVP

You have experience with restoration companies that deal with insurance claims.
