Fortnite Video Editor - Full Time - YouTube Gaming Content

TobyWanShinobi (a popular Fortnite YouTuber), is looking for an experienced video editor and content manager to join his team to edit and produce long form and short form videos for YouTube and TikTok. The primary responsibility of the Video Editor will be to edit videos provided by TobyWanShinobi, producing visually appealing and engaging content. The content will currently be based around Fortnite Zero Build mode.

Who is TobyWanShinobi? TobyWanShinobi is a highly skilled gamer who plays First Person Shooters and battle Royal Games. He is a kindhearted person with a fun loving personality. He creates content with the intent to help others become better players, with a focus on providing exceptional value to his viewers. He never settles for mediocre quality, always aiming to produce content that will surprise his viewers and earn their trust.

Responsibilities:
-Edit Fortnite videos I provide for use on our YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram channels.
-Produce long form and short form videos (2-3 Long form videos of 10+ minutes per week, 4-6 short form videos of 1 or less minutes per week).
-Be available to meet with me at specified hours (West Coast PDT times) throughout the week.
-Potentially join me in custom games of Fortnite to help me create content while you are an example opponent, etc.
-Use my pre-recorded scripts, and receive general guidance by me, but use creativity and skill to create super engaging content.
-Deliver edited videos as project files for our own final edits/changes.
-Help create professional YouTube thumbnails for each video.

Requirements:
-Be an avid Gamer
-Proven experience as a video editor in gaming content.
-Good sense of humor and ability to edit content into “fun” experiences to watch.
-Ability to recognize which content has the most potential and edit to create a masterpiece.
-Expert in Adobe Premiere video editing software.
-Proficient in Adobe Photoshop.
-Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
-Knowledge of social media platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) and uploading process
-Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver projects within deadlines.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Good attitude, kind heart, and desire to help others.
-Bonus if you are an expert in Adobe Photoshop and can help with other art projects

Working Hours:
The position is for 40 hours per week

Salary:
Payment starts at $800 USD a month, with the ability to grow as the channel grows.

REQUIRED (DO NOT SKIP, FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS CLOSELY):

Take this 20 minute video and edit it into a video that is 3 minutes or less, to be highly entertaining, but not too "over the top." You can make it funny, cool, dramatic, etc... but make it a "fun" watch for the viewer and keep in mind you are editing for an older audience of 16+, not kids. No vulgar or adult content.

I do not expect extreme edits, keep it fairly minimal but make the video "impactful and fun to watch." The video can be edited in ANY ORDER - it does not have to be chronological order as given - so make your own story if you'd like. Not every fight or elimination needs to be included - a good editor knows what to include and what to exclude.

Export video as 1080p 60fps and upload to a shareable format (such as Youtube, Google Drive, dropbox, etc.). Ensure that the link you share with me is accessible to me and not private.

I will watch every video and keep a short list of my favorite edits. If your video is good enough - I will reach out to you with next steps.
