We're Hiring: Hospitality Finance Director (CFO-Level Role)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Finance Director to join our Airbnb management business as our Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This leadership role requires exceptional financial expertise, strong analytical skills, and the confidence to make high-level strategic decisions. You will oversee financial operations, provide data-driven insights, and ensure the overall financial health and scalability of the business. Flexibility, accountability, and a willingness to work occasional weekends are required.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
We are not looking for just an accountant or someone with basic bookkeeping skills. We already have an accountant who handles taxes and general bookkeeping. We need a true CFO — a strategic financial leader who can help us grow, scale, and build a high-performing financial infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Oversight
- Manage all financial operations of the company, including income and expense tracking
- Build and maintain detailed budgets and forecasts aligned with business goals
- Analyze financial performance, trends, and variances to uncover opportunities for improvement

Financial Reporting & Bookkeeping
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Compile and organize all financial information using QuickBooks and Google Sheets, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and actionable
- Oversee internal bookkeeping processes: manage transactions, categorize expenses, reconcile accounts, and generate reports for decision-making
- Collaborate with our third-party accounting firm to ensure compliance and accurate financial records

Payroll & Labor Cost Management
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate payments to staff
- Track labor costs and provide recommendations for cost efficiency

Cost Tracking & Internal Controls
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to monitor operational and departmental expenses
- Monitor expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets and forecasts

Strategic Financial Leadership
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team
- Participate in strategic planning and business growth initiatives
- Confidently challenge leadership decisions based on financial data and performance metrics

Regulatory Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Ensure compliance with tax requirements, financial regulations, and industry standards
- Prepare documentation for audits, financial reviews, and investor reports

Key Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial leadership roles (hospitality, real estate, or Airbnb experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA or CFA is a plus)
- Strong command of QuickBooks, Google Sheets, and other financial tools
- Experience managing payroll systems and preparing performance-based financial reports
