Role Summary

As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a Financial Controller to own our financial clarity—going beyond just bookkeeping to provide deep insights into profitability, cash flow, and strategic forecasting. You’ll be a key player in ensuring Arcady Media is operating at peak financial efficiency while supporting our goal of 500% growth in the next 12 months

Key Responsibilities

> Financial Reporting & Analysis
Manage and refine monthly P&L reports, cash flow statements, and balance sheets
Track revenue, margins, and profitability across service lines
Develop clear, actionable financial dashboards to support decision-making

> Budgeting & Forecasting
Build 12-month revenue and cost projections, tracking against actual performance
Provide scenario planning & what-if analysis to inform key agency growth decisions
Optimize expense management to improve financial efficiency

> Client & Revenue Optimization
Track & analyze client profitability (COGS, service efficiency, account-level margin tracking)
Improve payment collection & invoicing processes to ensure smooth cash flow
Assist in pricing strategy & cost control to maintain strong margins

> Operational Finance & Compliance
Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records
Manage software costs, subscriptions, and tech spending
Handle payroll, contractor payments, and financial compliance in Canada & internationally
