We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations for a growing healthcare and social services organization operating in the United States.
This role will manage day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting support, reconciliations, payroll coordination, and operational finance systems. The ideal candidate is experienced with QuickBooks, understands U.S. business accounting, and can help build strong financial structure and accountability across multiple entities.
This is a remote position with preference for candidates based in the Philippines.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate financial records across multiple business entities
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Review and categorize transactions properly
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist with monthly close processes
Financial Reporting
Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports
Generate profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
Assist leadership with budgeting and forecasting
Monitor company spending and financial trends
Identify discrepancies or unusual transactions
Operational Finance
Help improve financial systems and workflows
Track vendor payments, invoices, and contracts
Coordinate with payroll providers and HR
Support compliance with financial documentation requirements
Assist with audit preparation and documentation collection
Leadership & Accountability
Help enforce financial processes and controls
Follow up with departments regarding missing documentation or expenses
Work closely with leadership to improve operational efficiency
Provide recommendations to improve financial performance
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong QuickBooks experience
Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills
Experience with U.S.-based accounting practices
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent English communication
Ability to work independently and proactively
Preferred
Experience supporting healthcare or social service organizations
Experience with multi-entity accounting
Experience with payroll systems
Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting
CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not required
