I’m looking for a highly skilled Filipino CPA with extensive experience supporting U.S.-based clients, especially small business owners with S Corps, 1099/W-2 income, and mixed-use deductions.
This is a project-based position to help review and organize 2024 financials, optimize deductions, and prepare for upcoming U.S. tax filings. The role includes strategic tax planning, expense review, and potential correspondence with the IRS on my behalf. If successful, there may be optional quarterly consulting work moving forward.
You must be confident working with 6-figure income earners, experienced in U.S. tax law, and familiar with deduction optimization strategies. You should be able to move quickly, think strategically, and organize financial data across multiple sources (credit cards, Amazon, payroll, etc.).
Responsibilities include:
• Reviewing and categorizing all 2024 expenses (credit cards, Amazon, mortgage, etc.)
• Strategically identifying and justifying legal business deductions
• Assisting with LLC to S Corp conversion follow-up
• Helping with estimated tax planning, payroll tracking, and bookkeeping setup
• Coordinating with my virtual assistant to gather required files
• Providing IRS support if needed (e.g., EIN follow-ups, documentation tracking)
Must-Have Qualifications:
• CPA (PH) license
• 5+ years experience with U.S. tax clients
• Deep knowledge of U.S. IRS code (especially 1099/W-2, S Corp, and deduction strategies)
• Familiarity with tools like Gusto, QuickBooks, Xero, and Google Sheets
• High attention to detail and professional communication style
• Comfortable supporting clients with $150K+ annual income
Compensation:
• Project Rate: $500–$800 USD (to be completed within 3–4 weeks)
• Optional Quarterly Retainer: $150–$250 USD per check-in (if continued)
Start Date: Within 7 days
Initial Deliverable Deadline: May 15, 2025
Please apply with your resume, 2–3 examples of relevant U.S. tax clients, and a short message explaining how you’ve helped reduce tax liability for high-income individuals.
Thank you!
