Expert Accountant / Finance Controller

Location: Remote (Work From Home)

We are looking for an experienced Accountant / Finance Controller who can manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and provide clear financial reporting to support business decisions.

Responsibilities
•Manage full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close
•Prepare financial statements, cash flow reports, budgets, and forecasts
•Maintain clean, accurate, and audit-ready financial records
•Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards
•Review financial data and provide actionable insights to management
•Improve accounting processes, reporting systems, and internal controls
•Use accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar platforms
•Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy

Requirements
•5+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience
•At least 2 years in a senior role such as Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, Finance Controller, or similar
•Strong knowledge of GAAP, reconciliations, financial reporting, and cash flow management
•Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting software
•Strong English communication skills
•Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving ability
•Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have
•CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting certification
•Experience with financial controls, forecasting, automation, or AI-assisted workflows
