JOB OVERVIEW

Job Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced WordPress developer with SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE and IN _ DEPTH KNOWLEDGE in plug-in development—specifically online booking plug-ins that integrate with WordPress and third-party systems. You MUST have built or configured complex plug-ins before, not just worked on basic WordPress sites or front-end forms.

If you do not have this specific expertise, please DO NOT apply.

This first project is for Thriving Minds Psychology Clinic, but there are two additional clinics with nearly identical needs, meaning this opportunity could lead to three paid projects (same core build, adapted slightly for each site).

About the Project:
We’ve developed a working document outlining the core functionality, decision logic, and integration requirements. We’re looking for someone to create or customise a plug-in-based tool (not just a form or hard-coded solution) that will:

Sit on our existing WordPress website
Guide prospective clients through a short intake process to match them with the right clinician
Integrate smoothly with our existing practice management software
Be adaptable across the other two clinic sites, which use similar systems and logic
You’ll collaborate with our web designer and director to implement this solution.

Required Experience and Skills:
Demonstrated experience in WordPress plug-in development or advanced configuration
Ability to integrate WordPress with third-party systems (e.g., practice software, CRMs, APIs)
Strong focus on user experience and clean, professional design
Ability to collaborate effectively with other teaUpgrade to see actual infombers
Fluent written and spoken English
Reliable, responsive communication and timely delivery

This role is NOT suitable for applicants who:
Only have experience configuring front-end form tools (e.g., Calendly, Gravity Forms)
Have never worked on custom plug-ins or tools involving logic-based workflows
Are unfamiliar with third-party integration or decision-tree design
Are hoping to learn on the job for this type of project

How to Apply:
Please include "calm minds, clean code" in both your email subject line and at the start of your cover letter.

Please send:
A short summary of your relevant experience
Links or screenshots of booking plug-ins or logic-based tools you’ve developed
A brief explanation (1–2 paragraphs) of how you would approach this project
Your availability and estimated turnaround time
Your quote for the first implementation

(Optional) A package quote for all three sites

Bonus (Highly Regarded):
Please include a 1–2 minute Loom video walking us through a previous booking system or plug-in you worked on. Share what the tool was designed to do, what technologies or plug-ins you used, and any challenges you solved during the build.
Employment Type:

Project-based, with potential for ongoing freelance work across multiple websites.
