JOB OVERVIEW

Experienced Media Buyer

This is a full-time, salaried position with 31 annual vacation days (including local public holidays). Salaries can be paid once a month or paid twice monthly via Wise. We are building a small Filipino team with a friendly, collaborative culture to support our local workers in Canada. We document everything we can so that our expectations are managed. We also promote from within, and there is always the opportunity to take a more senior role in the future.

We're looking for an experienced Digital Media Buyer to help us create success for our clients. Our clients vary from professional sports teams, transportation companies, e-commerce and more. All clients require lead generation, this is always the goal. We also have some internal projects to work on, which helps to keep things varied.

You must have strong communication skills and be fluent in written and spoken English. The potential candidate must have a deep understanding of the Google Ads platform (all features) along with META. Ideal candidates would also have experience with LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest and Bing. Candidates would also have to be available for 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, somewhere within the range of 3:00 am to 5:00 pm US Mountain Time, but we offer flexible working hours. Our Canadian team works from 9:00 am MST to 5:00 pm MST. Enjoy the freedom to work at your most comfortable time. We use Hubstaff and ClickUp to time track work hours and monitor productivity output.

In this role, we will seek the best candidate with the following skills.

General Skills

3+ years of experience in paid media or a translatable digital marketing role
Bonus if you have any marketing-related degrees or certifications.
Proven history of managing responsibilities on multiple accounts
Strong understanding of current PPC and SEM trends and practices
Strong ability to collaborate with the marketing team to align PPC efforts with overall business goals and objectives.
Exceptional writing skills
Understanding of how to identify target markets, unique demographics, and marketing trends within existing and new marketing campaigns.
An understanding of marketing terminology. (e.g. PPC, ROAS, MER, CPA Conversion rate, etc.)
An understanding of brand (how to identify brand colour, brand identity, voice/tone. etc.)
Strong communication skills via email or any internal management systems
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
A strong history and understanding of campaign building and campaign labelling

Google Ads Skills

Expert understanding of the Google Ads (AdWords) Platform.
Can navigate specific areas of Google ads with ease.
Bonus if they can manage other media buying platforms, META, Pinterest, Other SEM channels, etc.
Conduct thorough keyword research and selection for optimal campaign performance.
Familiar with all Google products, Search, Video, Display, Performance Max, Demand Gen, Standard Shopping, Grant Campaigns/Accounts.
Build ads that remain in the scope of the brand and its objectives.
Build display ads (remain in project scopes and brand limits.)
Build search ads (no grammatical errors, ads are on brand, using specific voice and tone, relevant to keywords and strategy etc.)
Strong understanding of how to create product funnels for Performance Max & shopping campaigns.
Familiar with average CPCs, CPV, CPM, etc.
Able to target geographic locations, demographic targets, Audiences, topics, custom placements, remarketing, etc.
Understanding of keyword match type, search terms, negative keywords, etc.
Develop compelling and engaging ad copies tailored to target audiences and campaign objectives.
Leverage ad extensions effectively to enhance ad visibility and improve overall campaign performance.
Ensure that all ad creatives adhere to platform policies and guidelines.

Implement bid management strategies to achieve target budget goals. Monitor and adjust bidding strategies based on performance and market trends.
Stay informed about changes and updates to advertising platforms and adjust strategies accordingly.
Strong understanding of data in relation to ad performance, keyword performance, creative performance, etc.
Scale campaigns effectively to meet CPA goals, e-commerce goals, or ongoing budget adjustment
Implement A/B testing strategies to refine ad copy, creative, and targeting.
Continuous optimization of managed accounts.
Identify and resolve policy disputes and technical errors within managed accounts.
A basic understanding of how to work with Google Analytics Tools within Google Ads to optimize and maintain imported conversions.



Facebook
/Instagram - META Skills:

Maintains an understanding of new trends, products, and policy updates.
Develop and execute innovative media buying strategies on Meta platforms, including Facebook and Instagram
Strong understanding of implementing Meta Pixels
Manage advertising budgets across multiple Meta campaigns.
Ability to identify policy or technical errors and resolve said issues within a reasonable timeframe.
Strong understanding and ability to build out various types of META campaigns.

Utilize METAs analytic tools and reporting tools to maximize ROI and stakeholder goals.
Monitor and report on campaign results, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Write effective copy that promotes the campaign's goals and stays within the brand guidelines.
Skilled in audience segmentation and targeting techniques to reach specific demographics within the Meta ecosystem.
Knowledgeable in A/B testing methodologies
