Estimator - Commercial Building

Location: Remote | Base: Perth, WA


Are you a skilled Estimator with a sharp eye for detail and solid commercial construction experience? We’re a Perth-based commercial builder seeking an experienced Virtual Estimator to join our team on a remote basis.


Responsibilities:

Complete quantity takeoffs for trades and materials directly from architectural and engineering drawings

Source and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotes

Raise and manage RFIs as required

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial projects

Maintain and update internal price lists and the estimating library

Assist with tender submissions and cost planning where needed

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

Proven experience as an Estimator working for an Australian commercial builder

Strong knowledge of local construction methods, trades, and materials

Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and services drawings

Experience managing the full estimating lifecycle with minimal supervision

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

High proficiency in estimating software (We use Buildxact, Procore, E1)

Excellent communication skills
