Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Estate Planning Paralegal to support our legal team with backend document preparation and editing. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of written communication, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently with templates. This role involves reviewing client intake information, processing data, drafting and editing estate planning documents, and ensuring accuracy and compliance. Extensive training will be provided to familiarize the candidate with our workflow and software tools.

Key Responsibilities:
* Review client intake forms and input data into estate planning software.
* Work closely with a Virtual Assistant (VA) who will generate initial drafts using the software.
* Edit and finalize estate planning documents based on firm standards and templates.
* Ensure accuracy and compliance in estate planning documents, including:
* Wills
* Trusts
* Powers of Attorney
* Advance Healthcare Directives
* Beneficiary Designations
* Property Deed Recordings
* Submit finalized documents for attorney review and coordinate revisions as necessary.
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with discretion.
* Utilize Clio and LexisNexis (including drafting tools like HotDocs) for document management and preparation.
* Collaborate with attorneys to refine legal documents and draft written content as needed.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Legal Studies, English, or a related field).
* Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to draft and refine legal documents.
* Highly detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying and correcting errors.
* Ability to work efficiently with document templates and standardized processes.
* Experience with Clio, LexisNexis, and HotDocs (preferred but not required; training will be provided).
* Comfortable working in a backend role with limited client interaction.
* Strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to firm procedures.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
* Prior experience in estate planning or a related legal field is a plus.
* Familiarity with legal terminology and document drafting standards.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Proficiency in legal research tools and document automation software.
