Enterprise SaaS Software QA - (Remote, US Hours)

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Engineer who has worked directly with multi-vendor, multi-tenant SaaS platforms and enterprise clients. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of a sophisticated B2B eCommerce solution by developing and executing thoughtful, risk-based testing strategies.
This role requires experience testing software built with headless, open-source technologies and an understanding of composable architectures, API-driven systems, and client-specific feature deployments.
We’re also looking for someone who is highly proactive about identifying issues, uncovering gaps in processes, and helping improve QA practices before problems impact customers. Just as important, the right candidate must be a strong communicator and proactive collaborator, able to work closely with developers, product managers, and project managers to surface issues early and drive resolution.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment and be comfortable working independently.
Availability during US business hours is required. Preferably could work night shift ( 8:00 PM - 5:00 AM Philippine Time)

Key Responsibilities
Testing & Execution
Plan and execute end-to-end testing for a complex, multi-tenant, multi-vendor SaaS platform.


Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across storefronts, seller tools, and marketplace operations.


Write, maintain, and expand automated test scripts using Cypress or similar tools.


Create and manage API test suites using Postman or similar, validating request/response behavior across environments and tenant-specific implementations.


Test web applications built on open-source, headless commerce frameworks where front- and back-end services are decoupled.


Quality Assurance & Defect Management
Log and track bugs using Azure DevOps (or similar tools), working closely with developers on resolution and re-testing.


Identify root causes of defects and proactively stabilize automation suites to minimize false positives.


Contribute to post-release testing retrospectives to improve QA effectiveness and overall product quality.


Test Planning & Strategy
Define test plans tailored to the realities of multi-tenant environments, ensuring comprehensive coverage across configurations and client variations.


Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate complex requirements into structured, actionable test cases.


Anticipate quality risks specific to enterprise client usage, such as varying permissions, catalog structures, or feature toggles.


Reporting & Collaboration
Deliver timely QA reports, test coverage metrics, and risk assessments ahead of releases.


Work cross-functionally with distributed teams to ensure QA remains an integrated, forward-looking part of the development lifecycle.


Serve as the go-to QA resource for your assigned areas of the platform.


Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
5+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing roles.


Proven background testing multi-vendor SaaS platforms supporting enterprise clients.


Demonstrated ability to test in multi-tenant, cloud-based environments with varying configurations per tenant.


Hands-on experience with open-source, headless commerce or CMS frameworks.


Technical Skills
Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman or similar.


Experience creating and maintaining automated test suites with Cypress or Sonarqube equivalent.


Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, Agile workflows, and CI/CD practices.


Soft Skills
Independent and highly organized; able to own QA across multiple modules or services.


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Excellent written and verbal communication, especially in remote environments.
Cross?functional collaboration works effectively with product, engineering, and support to align expectations and prevent recurring issues.
Understands how modules, services, and data flows interact, enabling better root?cause analysis and prevention.
Adaptability in fast?moving environments able to adjust testing strategy quickly when requirements, priorities, or architectures shift.
