World Over is a mission-driven virtual learning community dedicated to providing students and families with a high-quality, flexible education. We are seeking a highly skilled Enrollment System Developer & Student Information System (SIS) Specialist with expertise in designing, implementing, and managing student enrollment systems. This role requires proficiency in the Google ecosystem, Google Apps (Sheets, Forms, Drive, etc.), and coding to automate processes, enhance data accuracy, and optimize system functionality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, data management, and educational technology to support the organization's enrollment and student data needs.
This is a part-time, contract-based position (10–20 hours per week, as needed) with the potential to grow into a larger role.
About You:
You are a tech-savvy problem solver with expertise in student information systems, data management, and automation. Proficient in the Google ecosystem and skilled in Google Apps Script, Sheets, and Forms, you excel at streamlining enrollment processes and optimizing workflows. You have a strong analytical mindset, ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance with privacy regulations. Collaborative and adaptable, you communicate technical solutions effectively to non-technical users and continuously seek innovative ways to enhance efficiency and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain an efficient and scalable student enrollment system, integrating it with Google Workspace (Sheets, Forms, Drive, Apps Script, etc.).
Design and implement workflows to automate data collection, validation, and reporting using Google Apps Script, JavaScript, or Python.
Manage and enhance the Student Information System (SIS) by optimizing data structures and improving reporting capabilities.
Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., FERPA, GDPR) in student enrollment and records management.
Integrate third-party applications with Google Workspace to improve enrollment and student data management processes.
Provide technical support and training to staff on using the enrollment system and Google tools effectively.
Analyze enrollment data trends and generate reports to support decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve user experience, troubleshoot system issues, and implement enhancements.
Skills We’re Looking For:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Previous experience in school administration, enrollment, customer service, or office support (preferably in education).
Proficiency in student information systems (SIS), learning management systems (LMS), and CRM platforms (GoHighLevel is a plus!).
Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail), scheduling tools, and communication platforms.
Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and manage multiple school-related inquiries and projects.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required.
Schedule:
Flexible work hours, but you must be available for meetings during daytime, U.S. time (Pacific Standard Time).
Ability to complete work independently while meeting enrollment and administrative deadlines.
Regular follow-ups with families, teachers, and internal tea
Pay & Contract Details:
$10–$12 USD per hour (based on experience).
Part-time, contract position (10–20 hours per week, as needed).
