JOB OVERVIEW

Jeffers is a leader in the US Animal Health & Wellness industry servicing pet & animal owners of Dogs, Cats, Horses, & all Livestock. We are seeking a data-driven and creative Email Marketing Manager to own and execute our email marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in email campaign development, audience segmentation, and performance optimization to maximize Open Rates, Click Rates, and Conversion Rates. They should also have experience maintaining email account health, ensuring deliverability, and complying with best practices.

This role requires both technical expertise and creativity, as the candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying emails, including writing compelling content, creating engaging graphics, and optimizing links to drive sales and customer engagement. The ideal candidate should have experience working in Listrak email platform. This role will report to the Ecommerce Manager.

Key Responsibilities
1. Email Strategy & Execution
-Develop and execute a comprehensive email marketing strategy to maximize engagement and conversions.
-Plan and manage campaign calendars, including promotional, lifecycle, and automated email flows.
-Continuously optimize subject lines, preview text, send times, and audience segmentation to boost Open Rates & Click Rates.
-Implement A/B testing to refine creative elements, copy, and CTAs for higher conversions.

2. Email Design & Content Creation
-Design and build visually engaging, mobile-friendly emails that align with brand aesthetics.
-Create graphics and email templates.
-Ensure all emails contain accurate, functional links and proper UTM tracking for analytics.
-Write compelling email copy that encourages action and drives sales.

3. Email Deliverability & Account Health
-Monitor email deliverability, sender reputation, and spam compliance (DKIM, SPF, DMARC).
-Maintain list hygiene by managing bounces, suppressions, and engagement-based segmentation.
-Stay updated on best practices and compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.).
-Work closely with ESP (e.g., Klaviyo, Listrak, or others) to maintain strong sender health.

4. Performance Analysis & Optimization
-Analyze email performance metrics (OR, CTR, CVR, Revenue per Send, Unsubscribe Rate, etc.).
-Report on key insights and adjust strategies based on data-driven learnings.
-Identify opportunities for automation and personalization to enhance the customer journey.

Qualifications & Skills
-3+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing (preferably in eCommerce).
-Proven ability to increase Open Rates, Click Rates, and Conversion Rates through strategic email execution.
-Proficiency in email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Listrak, HubSpot, etc.).
-Strong skills in email design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
-Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template editing is a plus.
-Experience with A/B testing, segmentation, and automation workflows.
-Understanding of deliverability best practices and list hygiene management.
-Strong analytical mindset with experience in Google Analytics or ESP reporting tools.
-Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
