Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to join our team. If you have a background in engineering and are looking for an opportunity in virtual space, this is for you. This role involves handling customer technical assistance, remote diagnostics, providing parts and repair guidance, and ensuring seamless communication with service technicians in the repair and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or any engineering-related program.
- At least 3 years of experience in technical support, field service, or an engineering support role.
- Ability to understand technical manuals and diagrams.
- Good oral and written communication and customer service skills.
- Good computer skills and office proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support
- Provide real-time support to service technicians for diagnostics, troubleshooting, and operational guidance on machinery.
- Provide part identification and availability information and assist in coordinating spare parts procurement when required.
- Provide troubleshooting guidance to customers.
2. Service Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate service technicians for repair of machinery and other services.
- Liaise with all parties in resolving the service request.
- Work closely with service technicians to ensure timely issue resolution.
3. Knowledge Base Management
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of company products, including their specifications, functionality, and common issues.
4. Reporting
- Document all customer interactions, service requests, and resolutions in the company CRM.
- Prepare well-written service reports for customers.
