ACS Electrical is a growing electrical services company looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our remote team. We are seeking someone who has strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction drawings, and estimating processes to help us prepare accurate and competitive project estimates.

This role is ideal for a Registered/Licensed Electrical Engineer or an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong background in electrical construction, commercial projects, and quantity takeoffs.

Position: Electrical Estimator (Remote)

Employment Type: Part Time - Perth AU hours
Work Setup: Remote
Experience Level: Intermediate to Experienced

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for:

Reviewing electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project documents
Performing detailed electrical quantity takeoffs
Preparing accurate material and labor cost estimates
Creating professional electrical quotations and bid proposals
Calculating project costs including:
Electrical materials
Equipment
Labor hours
Installation requirements
Additional project expenses
Analyzing project scope and identifying potential risks or missing information
Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other tea ---------- mbers
Comparing supplier pricing and maintaining updated cost databases
Reviewing estimates to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
Assisting with tender submissions and project proposals
Maintaining organized records of estimates and project documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Registered/Licensed Electrical Engineer preferred
Experience in electrical estimation, electrical design, or construction projects
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical plans and schematics
Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and construction practices
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Electrical Estimation Software Experience

Experience with any of the following software is highly preferred:

Accubid / Trimble Accubid
McCormick Estimating
ConEst IntelliBid
STACK Takeoff & Estimating
PlanSwift
Bluebeam Revu
Trimble LiveCount
AutoCAD Electrical
Revit MEP
EPLAN
Navisworks
Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, spreadsheets, cost tracking)

Experience with other estimating platforms is also welcome.
