Ecommerce Operations Specialist - Tech Background Required (Long-term, Remote)

ABOUT US
We run multiple Shopify stores selling via Google Shopping.
The founders handle media buying and product strategy.
We're hiring an operations specialist who will grow into a senior
role over time.

The work involves topics like proxies, browser fingerprinting, JSON
schema, technical SEO, server-side tracking, and ecommerce policy
compliance. You don't need to know all of this on day one, but you
DO need a technical brain and the curiosity to learn fast. We will
train you on everything specific to our business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO (ONCE TRAINED)
- Monitor Google Merchant Center health daily across our accounts
- Run technical compliance audits on our Shopify stores (schema,
canonical URLs, page speed, image optimization, policy pages)
- Manage the multi-account infrastructure: proxies, antidetect
browsers, identity isolation (we'll teach you our stack)
- Handle account suspensions and write reinstatement appeals
- Coordinate with external partners (developers, e-reputation
specialists) for tasks you can't execute yourself
- Test new tools and methods, report findings back proactively
- Keep learning and bringing fresh ideas to the founders

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS
- Genuine technical background: CS/IT degree, prior developer/IT/
cybersecurity role, or strong self-taught background with real
projects we can verify
- Working knowledge of Google Ads (or another serious Ads
platform: Amazon Ads, Meta Ads). You understand campaigns,
bidding, conversion tracking.
- Hands-on Shopify experience: backend, themes, apps. No coding
required, but you should be able to read a Liquid template.
- You can read a technical document (network, web, schema) and
actually understand it
- Strong written English
- Curious by nature: you read, test, tinker
- Self-managed: you take ownership and report proactively
- Open mindset on unconventional ecommerce methods

WHAT'S A BONUS (NOT REQUIRED)
- Any Google Merchant Center exposure
- Antidetect browser or proxy experience (AdsPower, Multilogin,
GoLogin, residential proxies)
- Dropshipping or print-on-demand background
- Active in tech or ecommerce communities (Reddit, ---------- , HN,
Telegram)
