Ecommerce Operations Manager / Marketplace VA

We are looking for a highly organized Ecommerce Operations Manager / Virtual Assistant to help manage multiple online stores and marketplaces.

This is not just a basic listing job. We need someone who can help keep the backend of the business organized, accurate, and moving every day.

You will help manage products across platforms including:

Shopify
Amazon Seller Central
Etsy
eBay
Walmart
Poshmark
Mercari
Depop
Grailed
Vestiaire
Whatnot
TikTok Shop / social commerce platforms

The main goal is to make sure every product listing is correct, active only where it should be, removed when sold, priced properly, and presented professionally.

Main Responsibilities
Marketplace & Store Management

You will help manage product listings across multiple sales platforms.

Tasks include:

Create, edit, and update product listings
Cross-check listings across platforms
Make sure titles, descriptions, prices, shipping, categories, tags, and item specifics are correct
Make sure sold items are removed or marked unavailable from all other platforms
Check for duplicate listings
Fix incorrect product details
Make sure inventory stays organized across marketplaces
Review backend dashboards for errors, inactive listings, suppressed listings, missing info, and platform warnings
Help keep Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, eBay, and resale marketplaces clean and accurate
Listing Quality Control

You will be expected to review listings carefully before they go live.

You should be able to check:

Product title accuracy
SEO keywords
Correct brand
Correct size
Correct color
Correct condition
Correct pricing
Correct shipping profile
Correct images
Correct platform category
Correct tags and attributes
Whether the product is already listed somewhere else
Whether an item sold and needs to be delisted elsewhere

Accuracy matters a lot. One wrong size, one wrong shipping setting, or one missed delisting can create returns, cancellations, or account issues.

Marketing & Flyer Support

You will also help with simple marketing support.

Tasks may include:

Creating flyers in Canva
Updating promotional graphics
Creating sale announcements
Making marketplace banners
Creating social media graphics
Preparing product feature posts
Helping organize photos for promotions
Creating simple event graphics for live shows or sales

Canva experience is strongly preferred.

Daily Operations Tasks

Daily tasks may include:

Check all stores for new orders
Check sold items and remove them from other platforms
Check messages or flags that need attention
Review listings that need corrections
Update prices or sales
Organize inventory notes
Prepare drafts for new listings
Track completed work in a spreadsheet or task board
Report problems clearly instead of guessing
Required Skills

The right person must be:

Extremely detail-oriented
Organized
Fast, but not sloppy
Comfortable working across multiple ecommerce platforms
Able to follow instructions exactly
Able to spot mistakes without being told every time
Honest about what they do and do not know
Comfortable using spreadsheets
Comfortable using Canva
Good with written English
Able to communicate clearly every day
Platform Experience Preferred

Trial Task

Before hiring, we may ask you to complete a small paid or unpaid test task, such as:

Review 5 listings and find errors
Create 1 product listing draft
Cross-check whether an item is active on multiple platforms
Create 1 simple Canva flyer
Organize a small product sheet

This helps us see your accuracy and attention to detail.
