JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a results-driven E commerce Operations Manager / Marketplace Manager to oversee and optimize our online sales channels. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day eCommerce operations, marketplace performance, and ensuring a seamless customer experience across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Ecommerce Operations: (Not just Shopify)

Manage daily operations of the ecommerce website(s), ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and user experience
Oversee product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory accuracy
Coordinate with marketing, merchandising, and customer service teams
Monitor website analytics and KPIs (conversion rate, AOV, traffic, etc.)
Identify and implement improvements to enhance customer journey and sales

Marketplace Management

Manage third-party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay, B&Q, The Range, Marketplaces)
Optimise product listings (SEO, content, images, keywords)
Monitor marketplace performance, rankings, and competitor activity
Handle account health, compliance, and performance metrics
Manage promotions, advertising (PPC), and marketplace campaigns

Inventory & Order Management

Ensure accurate stock levels across all platforms
Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams
Oversee order processing, fulfilment, and returns management
Implement systems to prevent stockouts or overselling

Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and channel performance
Prepare regular reports and provide actionable insights
Use data to drive decision-making and growth strategies

Process Improvement

Identify operational inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions
Manage integrations between ecommerce platforms, ERP, and CRM systems
Stay updated on ecommerce trends, tools, and best practices
Requirements
Proven experience in ecommerce operations and/or marketplace management
Strong knowledge of platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Amazon Seller Central, or similar
Experience with digital marketing tools (SEO, PPC, analytics)
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel)
Understanding of inventory and supply chain processes
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing multi-channel ecommerce businesses
Familiarity with ERP systems and integrations
Experience with international marketplaces and cross-border ecommerce
Knowledge of UX/UI best practices
