Ecommerce Operations Executive

Hystride is a fast-growing performance eyewear brand operating across DTC and major marketplaces, with a clear ambition to scale into global retail and wholesale.

We’re hiring our first Ecommerce Operations Executive to take full ownership of day-to-day ecommerce execution and keep operations running smoothly as we scale.

The Role

This role exists to ensure that ecommerce operations at Hystride run efficiently, accurately, and without unnecessary escalation.

You’ll be responsible for the execution layer of the business — orders, customers, marketplaces, fulfilment, inventory planning and suppliers — so the founder can focus on growth, product, and partnerships.

This is an execution-first role, not a creative or marketing position.

What You’ll Be Doing

Owning day-to-day ecommerce operations across DTC and marketplaces

Managing marketplace inboxes and ensuring response-time compliance

Acting as the escalation point for customer service

Handling returns, refunds, reships, and customer edge cases

Managing order flow across Shopify and marketplace platforms

Working closely with 3PLs and shipping partners to resolve issues

Investigating stock discrepancies and delivery delays

Coordinating with suppliers on delivery timelines and documentation

Identifying operational inefficiencies and suggesting improvements

Adding products to marketplaces and optimising listings

Using automation and AI tools to improve speed and accuracy

Tools You’ll Use

You should be confident using:

Shopify (orders, refunds, admin)

Mirakl (marketplace inboxes, orders, SLAs)

Gorgias (customer support and escalations)

Google Sheets (tracking, reporting, issue logs)

AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, automation tools) to work efficiently

Experience with marketplaces, 3PL systems, or logistics platforms is a strong plus.
