About the Role
We are looking for an E-Commerce Marketplace Manager to help oversee and improve performance across multiple Amazon marketplaces. This role is ideal for someone who understands Amazon listings, competitor research, pricing, marketplace trends, and how to identify what each marketplace needs to grow.
You will be responsible for reviewing marketplace performance, identifying gaps, analyzing competitors, and making clear recommendations to improve sales, conversion, and overall listing quality.
Key Responsibilities
The E-Commerce Marketplace Manager will be responsible for:
Monitoring and reviewing Amazon marketplaces across different regions.
Assessing what each marketplace needs to improve performance, including design, pricing, listing content, images, keywords, offers, and positioning.
Identifying marketplace-specific issues that may be affecting sales or conversion.
Analyzing competitor listings, pricing, images, content, promotions, reviews, and overall strategy.
Making practical recommendations based on competitor activity and market conditions.
Reviewing trends in each market and identifying opportunities for growth.
Working with the team to recommend improvements for listings, pricing, design, and marketplace strategy.
Helping prioritize marketplace needs based on impact and urgency.
Preparing clear reports, proposals, and recommendations for management.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
Experience with Amazon marketplaces, preferably across multiple countries or regions.
Strong understanding of Amazon listings, product pages, images, pricing, reviews, and conversion factors.
Ability to analyze competitors and identify what they are doing well.
Good commercial judgment and ability to recommend practical improvements.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Ability to spot market trends and marketplace-specific opportunities.
Clear written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and provide structured recommendations.
Nice to Have
Experience with Amazon UK and Amazon Germany.
Experience with baby, parenting, home, or consumer products.
Familiarity with Amazon SEO, keyword research, pricing strategy, and listing optimization.
Experience creating marketplace performance reports or audit documents.
