ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR (Morning Shift)

The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial, residential, and industrial electrical projects. This role supports business growth by ensuring tenders are well priced and aligned with project scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Prepare detailed take offs and cost breakdowns
• Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotes
• Prepare and submit tender proposals
• Identify project risks and cost variables
• Maintain pricing databases and historical cost records
• Support project handover to operations team

Key Skills & Experience:

At least two years experience in estimating or cost control
Experience in Australian electrical estimating
Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards
Proficiency in estimating software
Strong attention to detail
Ability to meet tender deadlines
Strong understanding of construction pricing
High numerical accuracy
Ability to read construction drawings
Strong understanding of Australian construction and safety standards

MS Excel, CostX, Bluebeam, Procore, Aconex
Buildxact PlanSwift, or similar
PDF take off tools
Auto CAD
