Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Email Copywriter to join our email marketing team. As an Email Copywriter specializing in ecommerce brands, you will be responsible for crafting engaging, compelling, and conversion-focused email content that resonates with our clients' target audience. Your primary goal will be to drive customer engagement, increase brand loyalty, and ultimately boost sales through effective email copy.

Although we prefer someone with email copywriting experience, we are open to applications if you have experience in other kinds of copywriting as well.

We’re a growing company that serves high-growth eCommerce brands doing 7-8 figures of revenue per year. We primarily provide marketing services from paid advertising to email marketing to help support the growth of our clients.


Responsibilities:

Execute email marketing strategies that is in alignment with overall marketing objectives and brand’s voice.

Write captivating subject lines and email body copy that grabs attention, generates interest, and drives action.

Give design briefs/instructions as suggestions for the email designer.

Collaborate with the team to plan and brainstorm ideas.

Conduct thorough research to understand the target audience preferences, behavior, and trends, and incorporate findings into email content.

Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, trends, and technologies related to email marketing and ecommerce.

Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other team members to ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual appeal across all email communications.


Requirements:

At least one year experience as an email copywriter, experience in the ecommerce industry is a plus.

Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail and ability to tailor messaging to different audience segments.

Understanding of email marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.

Background in using ESPs, like Klaviyo is a plus but not required.

Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas for email campaigns and flows.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience in copywriting, with a portfolio showcasing skills in writing email copy. Experience working with eCommerce brands or in a digital marketing agency is a plus.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality outputs and adherence to brand guidelines.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and rationales to team members and clients. Comfortable receiving and integrating feedback.

Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work effectively within a team, contributing to a positive work environment and collaborative team culture. Willingness to share knowledge and learn from others.

Problem-Solving Ability: Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges and come up with effective solutions under tight deadlines.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to new tools, technologies, and evolving ecommerce trends. Openness to feedback and willingness to make adjustments to meet project objectives.

Confidentiality and Integrity: Understanding of and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive company information.


Benefits & Compensation

Base rate for this role is between PHP 40,000/mo to PHP 50,000/mo. We may offer a bit higher or lower of that depending on your experience and qualifications.

Work Setup

This is an in-office role at the 17th Floor, Latitude Corporate Center, Mindanao Ave., Brgy Luz, Cebu City. Shift is Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (with 1hr break) with a flexible time-in/time-out system.

Given the potential remote setup, team members are required to use their own equipment. An equipment procurement plan will be made available to team members who need it.

Hybrid/remote setup as a benefit for long-term team members with good performance.
