E-Learning Content Creator (Cybersecurity & Tech)

Onyx Cyber is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating pathways for underrepresented communities to enter cybersecurity and technology careers. Through training, mentorship, and workforce development initiatives, we aim to bridge the gap between education and industry.

About Onyx Academy:
Onyx Academy is the educational arm of Onyx Cyber, focused on building structured learning programs, certification pathways, and career pipelines in cybersecurity and technology.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a driven and creative E-Learning Content Creator to help develop high-quality cybersecurity and IT training materials.
You will play a key role in building courses aligned with industry certifications (such as CompTIA) and helping package these into structured programs that can be offered to learners globally.

Responsibilites:
-Develop e-learning courses in cybersecurity and IT fundamentals
-Align content with certification standards (e.g., CompTIA A+, Security+, Network+)
-Create lesson plans, modules, quizzes, labs, and assignments
-Organize content into structured learning pathways and sellable course packages
-Conduct research on cybersecurity trends and certification updates
-Format content for online platforms (slides, scripts, documents, etc.)

Qualifications:
-Basic to intermediate knowledge of cybersecurity or IT
-Familiarity with CompTIA certifications (preferred)
-Experience in content creation, curriculum design, or teaching
-Strong writing, research, and organizational skills
-Ability to work independently in a remote environment
-Passion for education, impact, and nonprofit work
