E-Commerce Assistant (Shopify Plus Expert)

About the Role:

We're looking for an Ecommerce Assistant with a strong passion for online retail and a proven track record of managing and optimizing Shopify and Shopify Plus platforms. This role will be pivotal in supporting the day-to-day operations of our online store, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and driving sales growth.

Responsibilities:

Shopify & Shopify Plus Management:
Maintain and update product listings, collections, and website content on Shopify and Shopify Plus.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Shopify platform.
Implement and manage Shopify apps and integrations.
Utilize Shopify Plus features for advanced customization and functionality.
Manage and optimize the checkout process.

Order Management & Customer Service:
Monitor and process online orders efficiently.
Provide timely and accurate customer support via email and other channels.
Resolve customer inquiries and issues with professionalism and efficiency.
Manage returns and refunds.
Website Optimization & Merchandising:
Assist in website merchandising and visual presentation.
Analyze website data and provide recommendations for improvements.
Implement A/B testing to optimize website performance.
Ensure website content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with brand guidelines.

Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage online inventory levels.
Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate stock levels.
Assist with inventory audits.

Reporting & Analysis:
Generate and analyze sales reports and website analytics.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights.
Assist with the creation of reports relating to website functionality and sales.

Support Ecommerce Manager:
Assist with the implementation of ecommerce strategies and initiatives.
Support promotional campaigns and product launches.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 2 years of experience in an ecommerce role.
Extensive knowledge of Shopify and Shopify Plus is mandatory.
Strong understanding of ecommerce best practices.
Proficient in website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently1 and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with2 CRM software is a plus.
Experience with skincare or beauty brands is a plus.
