JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking for a reliable, detail-oriented assistant to help run a small e-commerce store on eBay. The store uses AutoDS for sourcing and listing, so the majority of your work will take place within AutoDS and eBay's Seller Hub.
This is a structured, process-driven position rather than a strategic one. A detailed standard operating procedure (SOP) is in place that specifies exactly how each task should be performed. Your responsibility is to execute that process accurately and consistently, escalate anything unusual to me, and keep daily operations running smoothly. Strong performance in this role opens the door to expanded hours, increased pay, and greater responsibility as the store grows.

Responsibilities:
Product listing (via AutoDS): Source and list approximately 50-60 products per working day in line with the SOP, verifying reviews, pricing, supplier shipping speed, and brand-safety criteria before each listing.
Daily order management: Review the AutoDS orders dashboard each working day to identify and resolve any failed or pending orders according to the SOP. This is the single most important daily task.
Customer service: Respond to buyer messages within 24 hours using available listing information. When a question cannot be answered confidently, escalate it to me — accuracy is valued over guesswork.
Disputes and returns: Resolve straightforward "item not received" cases by uploading tracking; escalate all other case types to me.
Buyer offers: Send daily offers to new watchers in accordance with the SOP.
Store maintenance: Monitor stock levels, document out-of-stock items, and complete the monthly listing review and cleanup.
Weekly reporting: Provide a brief weekly summary of store health (defects, late shipments, open cases) and attend a short weekly check-in call.

Required Qualifications:
Reliability and consistency — dependable daily attendance and completion of the daily order check without prompting. This is the most important quality for the role.
Strong attention to detail — the ability to follow a checklist precisely, particularly the pricing and brand-safety rules.
Proficient written English — you will communicate directly with buyers.
Adaptability with tools — prior experience with AutoDS and/or eBay is a strong advantage, though the right candidate who learns quickly will be trained.
Integrity — a willingness to flag problems early rather than conceal them.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior eBay or e-commerce virtual assistant experience
Familiarity with AutoDS or comparable listing and automation tools
Working knowledge of spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel)
