Draftsman - Water Storage Panel Tanks

Raven Tanks is looking for a reliable and proactive Draftsman to support our growing tank projects.

This role will involve drafting, modelling, and detailing of bolted steel panel tanks and associated components for water storage applications.

We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, takes ownership of their work, and can work independently while communicating clearly with the team.

Role Requirements

* Experience with AutoCAD and/or 3D modelling software
* Familiar with Australian Standards including AS1657 and AS2304
* Experience with bolted steel panel tanks or similar steel structures is highly preferred
* Understanding of fabrication and assembly drawings
* Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
* Basic knowledge of Google Sheets and document management
* Experience or familiarity with sheet metal fabrication is a plus
* Reliable, organised, and able to meet deadlines
* Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks
* Good communication skills
* Part time or flexible arrangements may be considered
* Australian experience preferred

Scope of Work

* Prepare fabrication, shop, and GA drawings
* Assist with tank modelling and detailing
* Revise drawings based on engineering and project requirements
* Coordinate with project and engineering teams
* Maintain organised drawing folders, revisions, and document records
* Assist with filing and maintaining project documentation and drawing registers
* Update and maintain tracking sheets and project records through Google Sheets
* Ensure drawings and records are properly named, filed, and updated
