We are a fast-growing e-commerce health & wellness brand. We sell a red-light therapy device that helps women over 50 relieve hip pain caused by menopause. We sell through native-style video ads (VSLs) on Meta and are scaling fast.
We are looking for a skilled DIRECT-RESPONSE VIDEO EDITOR to turn our scripts into high-converting VSLs. You will NOT write copy — we deliver the full script, the hooks, and part of the video material. Your job is to make it convert.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Edit 2–4 VSLs per week (we start with 2, then scale based on results)
- Turn our scripts, hooks and beat-mapping into finished, polished video ads
- Generate and sync voiceover using ElevenLabs (script delivered in English, beat-mapped exactly)
- Add captions, B-roll, pacing, sound design and visual hooks that hold attention
- Source extra B-roll or simple motion graphics when needed
- Iterate fast on winning angles when we ask for variations
(We expect roughly 8–10 hours per VSL.)
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
- Proven DIRECT-RESPONSE editing experience — you have edited VSLs or native ads for a real e-commerce brand before (not just YouTube/social content)
- Strong editing skills in CapCut
- ElevenLabs voiceover generation and clean audio sync
- Animated / word-by-word captions (CapCut auto-captions or Submagic)
- Fluent English (required — all communication and beat-mapping is in English)
- Strong sense of pacing, retention and hook structure for direct-response ads
NICE-TO-HAVE (BIG PLUS)
- Understanding German is a MASSIVE advantage (our audience is German-speaking)
- Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects for cleaner cuts and simple motion graphics
- B-roll sourcing (Storyblocks, Artgrid, etc.)
- Experience editing for a health, wellness, supplement or 50+ audience

- VSLs delivered on deadline
- Editing quality and retention (hooks, pacing, captions)

WORK STYLE
High-performance, fast-moving e-commerce environment. We value ownership, speed and people who think about WHY an ad converts. Workload is project-based and flexible, but deadlines are firm. Start date: June 7th (ASAP).
