Direct Response Video Editor (Long-Form VSLs + AI)

About Us:
We're a fast-growing US health brand selling through direct response funnels. Our main marketing asset is long-form VSL (Video Sales Letter). We need a really good editor who understands this type of funnels and is willing to grow.

The Role:
You'll edit long-form VSLs (10 to 25+ minutes) and shorter ad creatives from scripts, voiceovers, and raw footage. This is not a "make it look pretty" job. It's a "make it convert" job.

What You'll Do:
- Edit full VSLs from script to final cut: hook, lead, and body
- Use pacing, b-roll, captions, sound design, and visual variety to maximize retention
- Source and create visuals using stock footage and AI tools (image generation, AI video, voice tools)
- Cut hooks and lead variations for testing
- Revise quickly based on performance data and feedback

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience editing direct response VSLs or long-form sales videos (we will ask for examples, this is non-negotiable, UGC videos do not count here)
- You understand the structure of a VSL: what a hook does, what a lead does, why the body is built the way it is
- You think in retention: you know where viewers drop off and how to prevent it
- Comfortable with AI tools (nano banana, ElevenLabs, Higgsfield, Kling, Flow) and eager to learn new ones and always research what is new on the market
- Fast turnaround, organized, and responsive, you will need to be able to produce quantity and quality at the same time. We are not looking for a one time project. You will have to constantly learn what works with our audience and adapt.
- Hungry to grow: we want someone who wants more responsibility and better pay as the company scales, not a freelancer juggling 10 clients. Someone that is really invested and is not scared to do overwork if necessary.

Nice to Have:
Experience in the health/supplement niche
Has worked with Top brands in the US that do long form VSL
