JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Digital Product Manager based in the Philippines to be the operational engine behind our e-commerce presence, product launches, SEO/AEO strategy execution, and AI-powered content creation. This is not a narrow role — you’ll touch everything from Shopify back-end updates to implementing JSON-LD structured data, from generating product imagery with AI to building entirely new websites for new product lines.

You’ll work closely with the team to manage projects in Asana, execute our Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategy using tools like Profound ( ---------- ), and support the ongoing development and relaunch of products across our catalog. You should be comfortable working with AI tools daily and have a strong technical foundation in Shopify, structured data, and web performance.

What You’ll Own

Shopify & E-Commerce Operations
• Build, update, and maintain Shopify product pages, collections, PDP (product detail pages), and landing pages — both front-end design and back-end configuration
• Manage product launches end-to-end: SKU setup, variants, pricing, imagery, copy, metafields, and SEO metadata through to go-live
• Support product relaunches by refreshing existing pages with updated images, descriptions, structured data, and optimized content
• Troubleshoot Shopify issues, manage apps/integrations (Klaviyo, Gorgias, review apps), and monitor site performance
• Improve Core Web Vitals scores across mobile and desktop — our mobile pages currently score “Poor” and this is a priority to fix
• Build and maintain Shopify Liquid templates and custom sections as needed
AEO, SEO & Structured Data
• Execute our Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategy to increase AI visibility score (currently 25.6%, target 35%+) across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and other AI search surfaces
• Use Profound ( ---------- ) to monitor AI visibility, track competitor positioning (Rishi Tea, Harney & Sons), and identify content gaps
• Implement and maintain JSON-LD structured data across the site: FAQ schema, Product schema, Article schema, Organization schema, and BreadcrumbList schema
• Build FAQ sections into priority product and blog pages with proper schema markup to improve featured snippet and AI citation capture
• Draft and publish AEO-optimized articles targeting high-impression gaps (e.g., matcha vs green tea, coffee replacement teas, ceremonial vs culinary matcha, functional teas)
• Monitor SEMrush and Google Search Console for ranking changes, CTR opportunities, and impression drops — flag issues proactively
• Track and improve average CTR (currently 0.5%, target 2%+) through title tag and meta description optimization
AI-Powered Content Creation
• Use AI tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, Runway, Pika, etc.) to generate and edit product images, lifestyle photography, and video content from existing Art of Tea assets
• Create new visual content for product pages, social media, email campaigns, Amazon listings, and marketing materials
• Work with Claude and ChatGPT to draft and refine product descriptions, landing page copy, blog content, and marketing materials
• Produce short-form video content for social and product pages using AI video generation tools
• Stay current with emerging AI tools and proactively bring new capabilities to the team
New Product Lines & Website Development
• Support the creation and launch of new product lines within and adjacent to the Art of Tea brand
• Build standalone Shopify stores or microsites for new product lines as needed — from theme selection and customization to full product catalog setup
• Develop brand-consistent design systems, page templates, and content frameworks that can be replicated across multiple sites
• Coordinate with the team on product naming, positioning, packaging content, and go-to-market timelines
• Set up analytics, tracking, and Klaviyo email flows for new sites
Project Management & Product Development
• Manage projects and workflows in Asana: create tasks, set deadlines, assign owners, track progress, and keep the team aligned across all workstreams
• Coordinate product development timelines from concept through launch, including cross-functional dependencies
• Work with the team to review and QA product pages, structured data, content, and assets before publishing
• Support cross-functional projects including marketing campaigns, seasonal launches, promotional pages, and catalog refreshes
• Maintain a product launch calendar and ensure nothing ships without proper QA
Requirements

Must-Haves
• 3+ years of experience with Shopify (front-end customization, Liquid templates, and back-end product/inventory management)
• Hands-on experience implementing structured data (JSON-LD) — specifically FAQ, Product, and Article schemas
• Proven experience with AI content creation tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, Runway, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) as part of a regular workflow
• Strong project management skills with hands-on Asana experience (not just “familiar with” — you should be running projects in it daily)
• Experience managing product launches or catalog updates for a DTC/e-commerce brand
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals: keyword research, on-page optimization, meta tags, Core Web Vitals, and Search Console
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Based in the Philippines with reliable internet and availability during US business hours overlap (minimum 4-hour overlap with ET or PT)
Nice-to-Haves
• Experience with AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) or AI visibility monitoring tools like Profound, Otterly, or similar
• Background in food & beverage, wellness, or lifestyle brands
• Video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or AI video tools like Runway or Pika)
• Experience building multiple Shopify stores from scratch (not just managing one)
• Familiarity with Klaviyo (email/SMS), Gorgias (customer service), or Meta Ads Manager
• Experience with Google Tag Manager, GA4, or conversion tracking setup
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Figma, or Photoshop)
• Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central or marketplace management
