What You'll Be Doing:

As a Developer at FirmOS, you will be responsible for developing and managing automation workflows, integrating APIs, building AI-powered tools, and creating scalable backend solutions to optimize accounting firm operations. Your responsibilities include:
- Automation Development: Build and manage workflows using Airtable, Make, Upgrade to see actual info, and custom code with JavaScript/Python.
- Data Visualization: Design and develop dashboards using PowerBI and Noloco to track key metrics and optimize operations.
- AI & API Integration: Create automated workflows and AI agents, integrating APIs from LLM providers like OpenAI to enhance operational efficiency.
- Backend Development: Develop custom backend logic with Python and JavaScript, reducing reliance on low-code automation tools like n8n.
- Software Integration: Integrate external software using JavaScript and Python APIs to create seamless, automated business processes.
- Collaboration & Innovation: Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features aligned with company goals.
- Scalability & Performance: Ensure the scalability, efficiency, and optimization of all built solutions.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Regularly maintain and optimize existing solutions, resolving technical issues as they arise.
- AI-Powered Development: Leverage ChatGPT and other AI tools to support prompt design, automation, and code generation across all tasks.

You're Probably a Match If You Have:

- Proven experience with Airtable, Upgrade to see actual info, and Make for building automation workflows.
- Strong JavaScript (Node.js) and Python skills for backend development and automation.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL database management and PowerBI for data visualization.
- Deep knowledge of software integration using APIs with JavaScript and Python.
- Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud for hosting applications.
- Solid front-end development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for building user-friendly interfaces.
- Ability to design and optimize ChatGPT prompts for automation tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a keen eye for detail.
- Previous experience in startups or fast-paced environments is a plus.
