Data engineer and analyst

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer preferably with a financial background to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PostgreSQL, as well as a solid understanding of e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify. Experience with APIs, webhooks, and Stripe is essential for this role.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist in developing KPI tracking dashboard with data from internal database
- Implement and manage data integrations using PostgreSQL.
- Work closely with the team to integrate and manage data from our database to our external tools.
- Develop and maintain APIs and webhooks for seamless data exchange.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and efficient data and reporting.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing data systems for performance and reliability.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, preferably within the financial sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, especially Shopify.
- Solid understanding of APIs and webhooks.
- Familiarity with Stripe and its integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Knowledge of data warehousing solutions.
- Knowledge of BI tools
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, etc.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Experience with low code tools such as n8n, retool, zapier
