As our Data & Business Analyst, you will own the reporting and analytics that drive every firm under XM Legal Management, and you will do it with a cutting-edge stack that pairs Power BI with Claude AI to automate the work that used to eat entire days.

This is not a role where you rebuild the same dashboard by hand every month. You will design intelligent, automated reporting pipelines — using AI to generate, refresh, summarize, and explain reports — so that leadership gets answers in minutes, not weeks. Responsibilities
What You'll Do

?Automate Reporting with AI & Power BI
- Build automated, self-refreshing Power BI dashboards and reports for every firm under XM Legal Management — eliminating manual report assembly.
- Use Claude AI to automate the reporting workflow end-to-end: generating narrative summaries, drafting executive commentary, transforming and cleaning data, and producing recurring reports on a schedule.
- Design AI-assisted pipelines that turn raw data into finished, formatted insight with minimal human touch.
- Develop standardized, reusable reporting frameworks so new reports can be spun up quickly and consistently across firms.

Turn Data Into Decisions
- Analyze operational, financial, and performance data to surface trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Use AI to accelerate analysis — rapidly exploring datasets, spotting anomalies, and drafting plain-language explanations of what the numbers mean.
- Build executive- and shareholder-level dashboards that make complex performance instantly clear.
- Forecast trends and outcomes using historical and current data, and deliver actionable recommendations to leadership.

Connect the Systems
- Build and maintain automated reporting from HubSpot, Clio Manage, Power BI, AirCall, DialPad, Teams, LawPay, and other firm systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across every automated output.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to map data sources and continuously improve reporting reliability.

Advise & Communicate
- Partner with firm leadership and XM executives to define the KPIs and metrics that matter.
- Translate analytics into clear, concise insight for non-technical audiences.
- Serve as a trusted analytics advisor — and an internal champion for smarter, AI-driven reporting.

Qualifications
Skills & Experience

Required
- 3+ years of hands-on Power BI experience, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard development.
- Demonstrated experience automating reports and dashboards (scheduled refreshes, dataflows, templated reporting, or scripted pipelines).
- Hands-on experience using AI tools — ideally Claude — to automate, accelerate, or enhance reporting and analysis.
- Proven track record in building executive-level dashboards and reports.
- HubSpot Reporting Certification.

Nice to Have
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate.
- Experience integrating AI/LLM workflows with BI tools or via API.
- Experience with Clio Manage reporting.
- Experience in a legal or professional services environment.
