What this position is responsible for:
We’re looking for a highly analytical and execution-focused DTC Funnel Optimization Specialist who can identify conversion bottlenecks, implement high-impact fixes, and continuously improve the customer journey across our eCommerce client portfolio. This role exists to bridge the gap between paid acquisition and on-site conversion performance, ensuring traffic generated by our Paid Media Strategists converts at the highest possible rate. You’ll own the diagnosis, testing, implementation, and reporting of funnel improvements while helping scale winning conversion strategies across multiple brands.
Requirements/Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), DTC eCommerce, funnel optimization, or Shopify growth operations
- Strong working knowledge of Shopify and DTC customer acquisition funnels
- Experience using tools such as GA4, Triple Whale, Shopify Analytics, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or similar analytics platforms
- Hands-on experience building and updating landing pages and pre-sale pages using Replo or similar no-code builders
- Familiarity with quiz funnel platforms such as Octane AI, Shop Quiz, TryNow, or related tools
- Experience implementing and analyzing A/B tests using tools like Convert, GLO, Intelligems, or equivalent testing platforms
- Strong understanding of key eCommerce conversion metrics including LP CVR, PDP CVR, ATC rate, checkout completion rate, AOV, and funnel conversion flow
- Ability to write high-converting CRO-focused copy including headlines, CTAs, benefit-driven bullets, and trust-building messaging
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to prioritize opportunities based on impact and effort
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client funnels simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with Paid Media Strategists and internal stakeholders
- High attention to detail and strong bias toward execution and accountability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven remote environment
Roles & Responsibilities for this position:
- Conduct monthly audits of each client’s full acquisition funnel, including the transition from ad creative to landing page/PDP, add-to-cart flow, checkout experience, and post-purchase confirmation journey
- Analyze funnel performance data using GA4, Triple Whale, Shopify Analytics, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, and related tools to identify drop-off points, friction areas, and conversion opportunities
- Develop and maintain a prioritized “funnel fix queue” for each client based on projected revenue lift, implementation effort, and business impact
- Collaborate closely with Paid Media Strategists to identify and communicate systemic funnel issues, including disconnects between ad messaging and landing page experience
- Build, launch, and optimize pre-sale pages in Replo to support paid acquisition campaigns and improve conversion performance
- Create, update, and maintain quiz funnels using tools such as Octane AI, Shop Quiz, TryNow, and similar platforms
Implement updates to product detail pages (PDPs) using Shopify-native apps and templated modules without requiring custom Liquid development
- Launch and optimize landing pages designed specifically for paid traffic campaigns and conversion-focused customer journeys
- Execute structured A/B testing initiatives using platforms such as Convert, GLO, or Intelligems, ensuring proper setup, tracking, and reporting
- Write and refine conversion-focused copy for headlines, subheads, product bullets, CTAs, badges, and other on-site conversion elements
- Run a minimum of two A/B tests per client each month, continuously iterating based on performance insights and learnings
- Maintain a centralized testing log documenting hypotheses, variants, results, learnings, and next-step recommendations across all client accounts
- Identify winning conversion patterns and scalable best practices, then templatize and implement them across the broader client portfolio
- Own and monitor core funnel performance metrics including landing page CVR, PDP CVR, ATC rate, checkout completion rate, AOV, quiz completion rate, and quiz-to-purchase rate
- Provide weekly funnel performance updates and actionable insights to Paid Media Strategists via Slack
- Contribute funnel performance insights and scorecard data to monthly client reporting deliverables
- Take full ownership of implementation timelines, optimization initiatives, and measurable funnel performance improvements across assigned accounts
