Cybersecurity Specialist – Windows Server

Mindcore Technologies is looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to strengthen the security of our Windows Server environment and web applications. This role involves implementing best practices in server security, authentication, encryption, and web security to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Enhance Data Security: Implement encryption and secure authentication methods to protect sensitive information.
Strengthen Authentication: Deploy Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and recommend best practices for secure access.
Harden Server & Web Security: Apply security patches, disable unnecessary services, and enforce HTTPS with strong encryption.

Secure Web Applications: Improve security settings in IIS and review authentication configurations for enhanced protection.
Ensure Compliance & Best Practices: Follow industry standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST, CIS benchmarks) to mitigate risks.

Qualifications:
? Experience securing Windows Servers (2016/2019) and web applications.
? Proficiency in ASP.NET security, authentication methods, and encryption techniques.
? Familiarity with SQL database security and best practices.
? Understanding of web security concepts (e.g., HTTPS enforcement, secure headers, access controls).
? Knowledge of MFA solutions like Duo, Azure AD MFA, or other authentication providers.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points!):
? Experience with OAuth, SAML, or OpenID authentication.
? Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for security automation.
? Familiarity with penetration testing or vulnerability assessments.
? Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, Microsoft Security, etc.) are a plus!
