Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting our clients’ IT environments by identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and responding to potential threats.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect IT systems and data.
* Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Analyze security alerts, logs, and i ---------- to identify potential threats.
* Conduct vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
* Respond to and investigate security i ---------- , providing detailed reports and recommendations.
* Collaborate with IT teams to ensure systems are configured securely.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
* Provide training and guidance to tea ---------- mbers and clients on cybersecurity best practices.

Technologies You’ll Work With
* Endpoint protection and monitoring tools.
* Firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
* Cloud security tools for Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS.
* SIEM platforms.
* Vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys).

What We’re Looking For
* Strong understanding of network security and firewalls.
* Familiarity with vulnerability assessments and i ---------- response.
* Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred but Not Required:
* Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISM.
* Experience with cloud security (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS).
* Experience in cybersecurity or a related IT field (2+ years preferred).
