About the Role:
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding sensitive information and systems for our organization and its clients. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect against cyber threats, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client-specific requirements.
Responsibilities:
Security Architecture and Design:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive security architecture, including network, system, and application security controls.
Design and implement security solutions to protect critical infrastructure and data.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
Threat Detection and Response:
Monitor security systems and logs for signs of malicious activity or security breaches.

Configure and maintain security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
Stay up-to-date on emerging threats and security best practices.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and address security risks.
Develop and maintain a risk management framework.
Client Collaboration:
Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and tailor security solutions accordingly.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Provide guidance and support to clients on security best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a consulting or managed services environment.
Strong understanding of network security, system security, and application security.
Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are preferred.
